Jet Crash Wiped Out Man's Family

Yesterday afternoon a man named Dung You Yoon lost his family in a jet crash in San Diego. His wife, two children and his mother-in-law were killed by a fighter jet that lost power and by chance crashed through their home and burst into flames. One day after losing his family, Yoon held a news conference asking for guidance from people who have suffered ''more terrible things.''

Plaxico Burress Shoots Himself in the Thigh

Plaxico Burress has just been suspended from the NFL for the rest of the season and will go to court in March for possession of an illegal firearm. He accidentally shot himself in the thigh while at a Manhattan Night Club on Friday. His teammate, Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce will be questioned about the shooting. Pierce was driving Burress to the hospital in his SUV and the SUV will also be investigated. The lawyer says that Burress will be found not guilty for possession of an illegal firearm. Burress did not have a gun license. Luckily, he wasn't seriously injured.

Be Careful

Today at school 10-15 people were suspended because of the gossip page on Myspace. So I want you all to be mindful of what you put up on the internet because those little things can effect you in a big way. Some examples of that are: schools look at that and they wont accept you, employers also look at those things, you really don't want to mess up your reputation for a little attention, friends or the opposite sex. Most importantly everybody in the world has at least one person who dislikes them and that person will do anything to make you second guess about what you posted. So I am going to say this one last time be careful of what you put on Myspace because it can hurt you or someone else.

Dorothea Lange

Dorothea Lange was born May 25, 895 and died October 11, 1965. When she was twelve her father "Henry Nutzhorn" abandoned her and her mother. That's why Lange's last name came to be Lange. Lange was educated in the art of photograghy in New York. After marrying Mayard Dixon in 1920 she stopped taking photo's inside the studio and started taking photos of the homeless and unemployed during the Great Depression. This led her to employment with the Farm Security Administration. She went around the country documenting the events that happened throughout the Great Depression. She has taken many great photograghs.

In the same election in which Barack Obama became the first black president people also voted against gay marriages in California. In my opinion I think that it is wrong for people to vote against gay marriages because if you love someone same sex or not you can't stop them from loving. Its ironic that in this historical election peolpe are so judgemental.
